We offer hearing screenings, as well as full diagnostic hearing assessments for school age+ children and adults. Full hearing tests include air conduction, bone conduction and speech audiometry, as well as acoustic immittance testing (tympanometry and acoustic reflex testing). Medicare rebates are available for tests referred by an ENT or neurologist. For patients referred by a GP, a Medicare rebate is available. As always, a signed and dated referral with the requested tests and Medicare provider number is required.
We also assess, fit and adjust hearing aids for adults, as well as supplying assisted listening devices such as TV headsets. As we are an independent practice with no affiliation to hearing aid manufacturers, we are able to recommend, fit and adjust hearing devices from all leading brands and will do what is right for your patient, not a foreign shareholder!
Eligible pensioners and veterans can access the Australian Government’s Hearing Services Program. For more information on the scheme please direct patients to Hearing Services or they can contact us directly and we can assess their eligibility. This program allows eligible patients free annual hearing screens and hearing aid adjustments, as well as subsidies towards hearing aids and assisted listening devices. We also offer competitive and transparent pricing for private patients and excellent customer service!
